Virtual hosts + SSL
Virtual hosts + SSL
Solution
If you are using virtual hosts and would like that domain to fall under sll, there are two options.
1. We can create a self-signed cert. This cert will show a popup asking the user to accept the cert permanently, but this popup will define a conflict between the actual url of the server and the virtual host entry.
2. You can purchase an SSL cert from a third party company. In this instance, we will need to generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) to initiate the process.
Cost for either of these services is $50 (plus cost of SSL)
